Why is a float better than an epsom bath at home

Why floating is better than an epsom bath at home

We get asked all the time why a float is better than—or different from—an epsom salt bath at home.

Well…with over 600kg of epsom salt dissolved in every float tank, it’s quite literally your home bath on steroids!

In fact, our tanks are one third more salty than the Dead Sea. You have no option but to pop up on top of the water like a human cork!

What does that mean for you?

Quite frankly it means Grandma was onto something when she told you to include epsom salt in your bath. One hour of “getting tanked” (aka floating) will ease your muscle aches and pains unlike any home bathtub remedy.

It’s also great for your hair, skin, and nails. The magnesium in the salt will help alleviate tension and stress, which can ultimately aid in digestion. Floating helps lower blood pressure and also provides us with some necessary silence from our noisy lives.

Where else can you lay down, do nothing for an hour, and emerge feeling like you’ve had the best massage?

Plus it helps you sleep like a baby! Consequently we call this phenomenon “effortless therapy.”

One hour floating is equivalent to 4-6 hours of deep sleep. And who here doesn’t need a little help in the sleep department occasionally?

Did you know?

Epsom salt is a naturally occurring compound that is comprised of magnesium and sulphate. It’s absorbed through the skin and can draw toxins from the body, often reducing inflammation. Magnesium is also credited with promoting the production of serotonin in our bodies, which is a mood-boosting hormone.

Imagine how peaceful our world would be if more people focussed on increasing their natural serotonin levels?
